The prosecution’s first witness Wednesday was Kyle Rittenhouse’s friend who bought him the gun he used.
Rittenhouse is charged with shooting three men with that weapon last year, killing two of them during the riots in Kenosha.
Dominick Black told the Kenosha County courtroom he bought the A-R-15 rifle.
He said he and the Illinois teenager were part of an armed militia working to defend Kenosha car dealerships.
Rittenhouse had stayed at Black’s home the night before.
Prosecutors also called F-B-I agent Brandon Crain and social media influencer Koerri Washington.
Testimony from the third witness will continue this morning (November 4th).
