Badgers sophomore forward Makenna Webster has been named National Player of the Month for October by the Hockey Commissioner’s Association.
Webster leads college hockey in points with 27.
She’s also tops with 15 assists and with five power-play goals.
The top scorer for the undefeated Wisconsin women’s hockey team is tied with teammate Daryl Watts for the best plus-minus in the W-C-H-A with plus-23.
She’s put up eight multiple-point games in the Badgers’ perfect 12-0 start to the season.
