A road construction project affecting motorists in both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties is expected to be completed this week.
The project on Highway 67 between Kiel and Plymouth began in May, and the DOT has announced that the detour signage has been removed.
Crews resurfaced the entire stretch of highway over that time and replaced a bridge and culvert along that route as well.
While motorists can now use the roadway, it should be noted that there are still a few items left to finish.
Crews are still doing some asphalt paving, beam guard installation, and pavement marking between County Road MM, and County Road EH.
It is anticipated that the project will be completely finished by the end of the day on Friday.
