For the last 25-years, the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park has been entertaining young and old alike, and they will be honored for that fact this week.
On Thursday, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums will recognize the NEW Zoo’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in animal care, welfare, management, veterinary care, conservation, education, staffing, facilities, safety, guest services, and more.
The presentation will start at 10:30 AM in the Education Building Conference Room at the Zoo and will feature NEW Zoological Society President, Gary Ehrbar.
Also, there will be remarks from Zoo Director Neil Anderson as well as a cake cutting and short celebration with Zoo Staff.
