There was a high-speed chase yesterday morning involving the Manitowoc and Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Departments.
Authorities in Manitowoc County had attempted to pull the suspect vehicle over on I-43 at around 3:30 AM, but the unnamed driver continued into Sheboygan County.
The Deputies then called the Sheboygan County authorities, who took over the chase and followed the vehicle all the way to the Ozaukee County Line.
The vehicle was stopped with spike strips, but the man fled on foot.
He was finally taken into custody at around 4:30 AM and was taken to the Sheboygan County Jail.
His name has not been released, but authorities say the Milwaukee man was wanted on several warrants.
