Brown Deer police say officers responding to reports about several gunshots being fired found the body of a man last week.
The caller told officers the shooting suspect had run away from the home
The victim died of multiple wounds before he could be taken to a hospital.
Businesses, schools, and daycare operations were urged to shelter in place while the search was on for the shooter.
Police say Keenan Bryant was taken into custody and he has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and recklessly endangering safety.
Police say Bryant knew the victim.
That person’s name hasn’t been released.
