A Manitowoc man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly threw a picture frame at his ex-girlfriend.
Officers met with the victim in the Lincoln Park Parking lot, as she said her boyfriend was throwing things about his home in the 1300 block of North 8th Street.
The victim explained that the man had broken up with her that day, and she was getting her things from the home.
The man had reportedly been drinking and began throwing items around the house.
He then grabbed a picture frame off of the wall and threw it at her like a frisbee.
He also reportedly threw a knife into a wall.
Police made contact with the 41-year-old suspect, who denied ever having a knife but admitted to taking “a handful of pills” with a child present.
He was arrested on charges of Simple Battery with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
