The Appleton Fire Department is looking into the cause of a fire in a detached garage over the weekend.
The fire was reported to the Fire Department at around 2:00 AM on Saturday on East Sylvan Avenue.
Crews quickly arrived and took down the blaze, and were able to keep the flames from spreading to the nearby home.
However, the fire did cause around $10,000 in damage.
At last word, a cause has not been determined, and no one was injured in the incident.
The residents inside the home were alerted by their smoke alarms and were able to get outside before ingesting too much smoke.
