
Two more banners will be raised in the Valders High School Gymnasium.
The Boys Cross Country Team won the Division 3 State Championship yesterday (October 30th), while the Girls came in second.
The Boys ended the day with 78 points, beating runner-up Grantsburg by 7, and Ozaukee by a whopping 80 points.
The Girls walked away with 108 points, 37 points behind Boscobel, and only 2 points ahead of section rival Lourdes Academy.
Individually, Shane Griepentrog continued his domination in his final high school race, taking home the gold, and was followed closely by Clay Taylor.
Hannah Welch paced the Vikings with a 3rd place finish, while Elizabeth Backus finished 9th.
Elsie Kmecak of Catholic Central was the girls’ champion.
