With the support of hundreds of community donors, Manitowoc’s Golden K Kiwanis raised $4,311.80 from its Fall Fundraising M&M Drive.
In total, 3,735 mini bags of M&Ms were given out during the fundraiser.
The Golden K is saluting the management of Piggly-Wiggly, Festival Foods, and Pick’n’Save grocery stores, as their cooperation enabled Golden K Kiwanis members to solicit donations going towards student scholarships, camperships, and other causes making a positive difference in children’s lives and the Lakeshore area.
The Golden K group meets weekly at 9:00 AM in the Manitowoc Senior Center.
