Two people are dead after a head-on collision Thursday morning near Janesville.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says an SUV crossed the centerline on US Highway 14 crashed into a pickup.
Deputies say both drivers were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated.
First responders attempted to save them, but the two Janesville men died at the scene.
Their names were not released right away.
The collision forced the closure of the highway for nearly four hours.
