The man accused of driving drunk and killing two Whitelaw residents is being held on a $50,000 bond.
29-year-old Marcus Walker of Green Bay has been charged with two counts of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle, and one count of Causing Great Bodily Harm by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle.
He was driving west on Cooperstown Road Saturday night, with his brother Joseph in the car.
He reportedly failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle traveling south on County Highway R and collided with it.
Walker’s vehicle reportedly spun out and started on fire as it came to rest in a field.
42-year-old Jamie Lee Cain and 41-year-old Katherine Mae Rathie-Dunn were both killed in the crash.
Walker’s brother was also injured and flown to a Milwaukee hospital.
Walker is due back in court sometime next week.
