A pair of Wisconsin women’s hockey players are being honored for their play in the sweep over Ohio State.
Nicole LaMantia was named W-C-H-A Defender of the Week for the second straight week after scoring both Badgers’ goals in Sunday’s win over the Buckeyes.
Kennedy Blair is W-C-H-A Goaltender of the Week for the second time this season.
Blair allowed just two goals in the series against Ohio State and made 52 saves.
The top-ranked Badgers play Friday and Sunday at Minnesota State Mankato.
