Longtime Milwaukee Brewers coach Ed Sedar is calling it a career after three decades with the team.
Sedar announced his retirement Monday saying, “Being able to spend 30 years with one organization is something I will always cherish.”
60-year-old Sedar started in the minors in 1992 and later became Brewers first base coach in 2007 and was third base coach from 2011 to 2020.
He spent last season as an advisor to the coaching staff.
He played eight seasons of minor league ball in the White Sox organization.
