A man originally from Manitowoc has been ordered to stand trial for the death of his children.
37-year-old Matthew Beyer will be in court on September 6th of next year as he faces two counts of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Taking Hostages, and Attempting to Escape Criminal Arrest, with the last two being as a party to the crime.
Beyer’s children, 5-year-old William and 3-year-old Danielle Beyer were found dead in their bedrooms back in February.
Both children had suffered five to eight stab wounds to their neck, while William had cut on his hands indicating he fought back.
Beyer admitted to the police that he was in the home to find drugs.
