Home sales in Manitowoc County fell slightly in September compared to last year.
According to a report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association, 108 homes were sold last month, compared to 110 in September of 2020, which is a decline of 1.8%.
However, the average price for those homes rose by 18.7%, from $142,250 in September of 2020 to $168,825 last month.
Also of note, homes are spending 22.6% less time on the market.
The average home in Manitowoc County was sold in 65 days compared to 84 last year.
The statewide numbers show a similar trend. 8.6% fewer homes were sold, but those that were sold went for $245,000, which is a rise of 6.6%.
Also, those homes spend 23.3% less time on the market, with the “For Sale” signs remaining up for 66 days this year.
