As was expected, more charges have been filed against the Sturgeon Bay man who allegedly vandalized four buildings in Manitowoc.
A total of five counts of Criminal Damage to Property have been filed against 37-year-old Heiden Paul Hippert, with two of those upgraded due to the cost of the damage being over $2,500.
Hippert has also been charged with one count of Retail Theft, as he reportedly took a bottle of Don Julio Blanco tequila from Northshore Liquor, located at 1207 Washington Street.
During his time in Manitowoc on Monday, Hippert was caught on video vandalizing Angelus Senior Center, Painting Pathways, the BayCare Clinic, and the probation and parole building, and also smashed windows of some vehicles owned by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Hippert is a self-proclaimed transient, who refused to speak with the police about the alleged crimes.
Heiden was located in Two Rivers where he was taken into custody.
