The Wisconsin men’s hockey team blanked Army Saturday 1-0 to even its record at 2-2.
The teams were scoreless until captain Tarek Baker scored on a breakaway with three minutes left while the Badgers were down a man.
Senior transfer goalie Jared Moe stopped 19 shots for his first shutout with Wisconsin.
Coach Tony Granato’s team out-shot Army 32-to-19.
The Badgers go on the road for the first time in the young season when they travel to St. Cloud State Friday and Saturday.
