Authorities in Dodge County say excessive speed and alcohol impairment are thought to be factors in a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday.
A 9-1-1 caller reported a motorcycle was in a ditch near an injured man at about 5:00 AM. The 34-year-old victim died before he could be rushed to a hospital. His name hasn’t been released.
Police think he was thrown from the motorcycle and had been lying in the ditch in Beaver Dam for about two hours when he was spotted.
Police say he wasn’t wearing a helmet.
