The surviving shooting victim of teenager Kyle Rittenhouse has filed a federal lawsuit against Kenosha police, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office and the city.
The suit filed by Gaige Grosskreutz accuses authorities of enabling the violence by allowing an armed militia to run free in the street.
The filing in Milwaukee federal court alleges a conspiracy to obstruct justice, equal protection and free speech violations, and a failure to intervene.
Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber were killed in the protest, riots, and looting following the shooting of Jacob Blake by a Kenosha police officer on August 23rd, 2020.
