Republican state Senator Andre Jacque was finally back on the job Thursday when he chaired a meeting of the Wisconsin Senate’s human services committee.
He also attended a hearing of the Senate judiciary committee the same day – both meetings by phone.
Jacque was hospitalized more than two months ago after testing positive for COVID-19.
He was placed on a ventilator on August 23rd and discharged on September 21st.
Jacque hasn’t said if he has been vaccinated.
He is one of the most conservative Wisconsin lawmakers and has fought vaccine and mask mandates in the past.
