Students at Madison East High School walked out of class Wednesday morning to support a sexual assault victim.
The students carried signs with messages like “we are not safe” and “kick him out.”
They were protesting the school’s response to the accusations, saying they want the attacker kicked out of school.
The young woman was reportedly attacked at a party last weekend.
A letter she had written was read to the protesters expressing her gratitude.
Authorities haven’t released any names and haven’t said exactly what happened.
