Another meeting was added for today in Two Rivers.
The Room Tax Commission will gather in the Council Chambers at 2:00 PM, where they will begin by reviewing the status of tourism marketing activities in 2021 and room tax revenue.
They will then consider requests for funding assistance from Two Rivers Snowfest and Rogers Street Fishing Village for their Rogers Street Days festivities.
Then, following an update on Vision Architects’ evaluation of the potential re-use of a city-owned High Lift Building as a Visitor Welcome Center, the Commission will enter a closed session.
In that session, they will continue to discuss their negotiations with the City of Manitowoc and the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, as well as other options for the provision of tourism development and marketing services.
