As a reminder, a portion of Manitowoc’s Lincoln Park will be closed off today (October 13th) for a one-day workshop.
The program is entitled “Chainsaw Safety and the Basics of Tree Trimming” and was organized by Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin.
According to a release from the City’s Park and Recreation Division, the north portion of the park as well as the north and south roadways by the cabins will be closed to traffic and pedestrians from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the workshop.
Both the south road from Lincoln Boulevard to the Zoo as well as the Zoo entrance off of Reed Avenue will remain open.
Visitors to the park should stay clear of any tree trimming or removal activities.
