Chez Mellusi is still the starter, but Isaac Guerendo and Braelon Allen are co-listed as the backup in this week’s early depth chart released by the Wisconsin Badgers.
No clear reason has been given for the dismissal of four-star running back recruit Jalen Berger last weekend.
Allen was recruited as a linebacker, but he switched positions and ran for 131 yards or 18 carries at Illinois, scoring a touchdown.
The Badgers are down three players at the position since the summer but still rushed for 391 yards at Illinois Saturday.
