A woman accused of killing her husband 15 years ago is getting underway in Marathon County today (Monday).
Ken Juedes was killed in 2006, but his wife wasn’t formally charged until recently.
Schulz-Juedes has tried to pin the crime on other individuals who are involved in a lawsuit over the sale of a race track.
Investigators say she may have been trying to get almost a million dollars in life insurance money and other assets.
It isn’t clear what development led to take her into custody, although she was a person of interest for years. Court officials say the trial could last into the middle of next month.
