There are two meetings on the schedule for today in the City of Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will start the evening off with their meeting at 4:00 PM in the MPU Office.
After holding an election for their officers, the group will enter a closed session.
In that session, they will approve the minutes of the previous meeting, specifically regarding their amended Comfort Resolution, and will look over some potential litigation against KS Energies.
Then, at 5:30 PM, the Public Safety Committee will convene in the Council Chambers.
After giving the public time to voice their comments, the Committee will look over a few requests.
The first is for a no parking during school hours designation for the east side of North 15th Street between Waldo Boulevard and Menasha Avenue.
The other is for the installation of left-turn arrows at the Calumet Avenue intersections with South 30th and South 35th Streets.
The Committee will also be looking over a Sex Offender Residency Board appeal for Joe Xiong.
They are discussing several other requests, which can be viewed by visiting the meeting Agenda and Minutes section of Manitowoc.org.
