Two Big Ten Conference teams needing a win meet Saturday in Champaign, Illinois.
The Wisconsin Badgers are off to their worst start of a season in 31 years with a record of one-and-three.
They’ve also lost 10 of their last 19 games dating back to 2019.
Former Badger coach Bret Bielema’s Illinois team is also struggling with a two-and-four record.
A pair of injured standouts for Wisconsin, quarterback Graham Mertz and tight end Jake Ferguson, are expected to play.
Both have been able to join their teammates at this week’s practices.
