Two former Milwaukee Bucks are listed among 18 former N-B-A players accused of fraud. Federal prosecutors say 16 of the 18 suspects have been arrested.
Christopher Douglas-Roberts played for the Bucks during the 2010-2011 season and Ruben Patterson was on the roster in the 2006-2007 season.
Federal prosecutors say the 18 players engaged in a scheme to defraud the N-B-A’s health and welfare benefit plan of about $4 million.
They are accused of submitting false and fraudulent claims to get reimbursed for medical expenses that were never incurred.
