Drivers in the eastbound lanes on Interstate 94 in Waukesha found themselves in a big parking lot Thursday morning, in some cases for hours.
The crash and fire involving a semi at 5:00 a-m blocked the road.
The big truck hit the U-S Highway 18 overpass and the driver was ejected, suffering injuries that required hospitalization.
Some drivers said they were delayed by up to two hours.
The Waukesha County Highway Department was called to repair walls and clear debris.
That stretch of interstate re-opened completely just before 1:00 PM.
