The Badgers and Hawkeyes had 10 ties and five lead changes in a hard-fought third set Wednesday, but Wisconsin still came away with the volleyball sweep.
Iowa is now 2-13, including a winless 0-5 in conference play, but it pushed Wisconsin hard in that third set.
Wisconsin actually trailed most of the way.
Freshman Julia Orzol was the only Badger to reach double digits with 13 kills.
Both teams had five blocks while Wisconsin came up with three aces.
The Badgers’ next action is in the U-W Fieldhouse Saturday at 7:00 p-m – a return match against Illinois.
Wisconsin just beat the Illini on the road Sunday.
