A 33-year-old Fitchburg woman is in the Dane County Jail for a fatal stabbing inside an apartment building Monday.
Kania Quinn faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
Investigators say she had been living with the victim, 62-year-old Fred Edwards Junior.
Police officers responding to a report of a man down at 2:30 a-m Saturday discovered Edwards in the hallway of the apartment building bleeding and unresponsive.
He was taken to a hospital but doctors weren’t able to save his life.
