Two meetings are scheduled to take place in Manitowoc’s City Hall this evening.
First up is the Building Board of Appeals, who will convene at 4:00 PM in the first floor Hearing Room.
They will hear an appeal from a resident in the 800 block of Huron Street who is looking to build a detached accessory that exceeds the allowable maximum square footage limit.
Then at 5:30 PM, the Finance Committee will gather in the Council Chambers, where the public will be given time to voice their comments.
After looking over the applicants for the open MPU Commissioner position, the Committee will look over ten different claims ranging from basement flooding to legal fees and punitive damages.
Also being discussed are two cases in US District Court where one Kimberly Howell is suing the City of Manitowoc and Detective David McCue. The details of those cases are not known at this time.
