The City of Green Bay is asking a federal court to issue a summary judgment, dismissing the lawsuit it faces dating back to last year’s protests after George Floyd was killed.
Gerardo Rodriguez of Allouez and Manali Olesky of Green Bay claim their constitutional rights were violated when the city enacted and enforced new curfews.
The two maintain the curfews were selectively enforced based on the race of the accused offender. They say other people who were outside in downtown Green Bay between June 1st and 6th weren’t arrested.
