Milwaukee police say two girls were riding in a car with their mother Saturday night when people in a second vehicle opened fire.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office reports 11-year-old Taniyla Parker died Sunday.
Her five-year-old sister is in stable condition.
Investigators say the drive-by shooting happened at about 9:00 p-m next to Sherman Park as the family drove home from a meal at Chuck E. Cheese.
The mother drove to a nearby police substation and officers administered first aid until the Milwaukee Fire Department arrived.
Police haven’t identified the shooting suspects.
