It’s fall cleanup time at Manitowoc’s Evergreen Cemetery.
The City’s Cemetery Division is asking for those who decorate any gravesites in the cemetery to remove all summer decorations by October 15th.
Any decorations not removed by that date will be disposed of, and perennials will be cut down to ground level.
Authorities also ask that winter decorations not be placed until November 15th.
As a reminder, decorations of gravesites should be kept close to the marker to minimize damage from snow blowing from any nearby gravesites.
