Madison East High School Principal Sean Leavy sent a message out to all school families on Tuesday evening saying they have responded to multiple fights during lunch on and off school property.
He says some of the fights have turned physical ad they are working with students to discipline those involved.
The school spokesman says one student was taken to the hospital following a fight at school late last week.
The school nurse suggested the student go to the hospital as a precaution.
