The captain of the European team is likely second-guessing some decisions made in the lead-up to the Ryder Cup Tournament.
Padraig Harrington decided to take fewer wild card picks, as he believes it’s important to have the Ryder Cup team represent the European Tour as opposed to having just European players.
Harrington’s squad faced one of the strongest teams the U.S. has ever had, so it seems as though there wasn’t much his team could have done.
The U.S. team, lead by Madison native Steve Stricker, dominated the weekend at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan by a score of 19-9.
