The St. Louis Cardinals continued their historic surge yesterday, as they topple the Milwaukee Brewers 6-2.
Adam Wainwright pitched 6 innings for the Redbirds earning the win, the 17th in a row for St. Louis.
The offense helped Wainwright out with home runs by Dylan Carlson, Nolan Arenado, and Jose Randon.
The Brewers starting pitcher, Brandon Woodruff only pitched four innings but gave up seven hits, and two earned runs.
Louis Urias and Jace Peterson were the only Brewer batters to contribute multiple hits, with Urias pounding in the only runs for the NL Central Champs.
