An autopsy is scheduled for today (September 28th) to determine if a body found Monday in Douglas County is a woman reported missing last week.
Hailey Anderson’s vehicle was found Monday and the body of a woman was at the scene.
Investigators now believe the 43-year-old Anderson was involved in a traffic accident on September 16th.
Her vehicle swerved off Highway 53 and rolled onto the bank of the Amnicon River.
She was reported missing September 22nd and authorities originally described the circumstances a “suspicious.”
The last time Anderson was seen she was leaving a casino in Turtle Lake.
