Even though the national average remained unchanged from last week, the average price per gallon of fuel fell in six of the seven counties in eastern Wisconsin.
Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties each reported a one-cent decline to $3.02 and $2.99 respectively, as did Kewaunee County, whose average price per gallon of fuel now sits at $2.98.
Also, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, Outagamie and Brown Counties reported three-cent declines to $2.95 and $2.98, while Door County saw a two-cent drop to $3.05.
For the third straight week, motorists in Calumet County are paying an average of $2.95 per gallon, as they are the only County in the area not to report a decline.
The state average also dropped three cents to $3.01 while the national average remained at $3.19.
