A 24-year-old man was arrested over the weekend after he reportedly broke a window at a downtown Manitowoc business.
The police were informed of the incident by a witness who was parked across the street at the time of the incident, which was around 5:30 PM on Saturday (September 25th).
He reported that the suspect broke the window to Lakeside Music, located at 931 South 8th Street, and began walking north.
The suspect was located by police a short time later.
When the officers told the man he was under arrest, he attempted to pull away, but was secured, and placed into the squad car.
While in the car, the man continued to yell at both the police and the paramedics who arrived on the scene. He also kicked and spit at the police as they brought him to a local hospital.
The man was sedated at the hospital and was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail.
He has been charged with Criminal Damage to Property, Resisting an Officer, Disorderly Conduct, and two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
