The ribbon has been cut and soon the restored home at 700 Cherry Street in Green Bay will welcome men in recovery from substance abuse.
It comes as the Jackie Nitschke Center (JNC) expands its substance addiction services as the need continues to grow with the stresses of the COVID-19 pandemic. The restoration and conversion of the home that had been used for office and therapy space bring the Men’s Recovery Home onto the Jackie Nitschke Center campus in downtown Green Bay.
With a capacity of 12, the Cornerstone Recovery Home for Men is one of three residential treatment and sober living facilities owned and operated by JNC, which also offers outpatient treatment programs for individuals and their families.
