Students in the Pardeeville Area School District will attend their classes by Google Classroom through today (September 24th).
Just three weeks into the new school year and the central Wisconsin district was forced to return to virtual learning.
Fourteen staff members were knocked out this week by contracting COVID-19 or being exposed to the virus.
A district official says the real problem is a shortage of substitute teachers.
Many of the retired teachers the schools depend on still don’t feel comfortable being in classrooms while people are getting sick in growing numbers.
Pardeeville has a goal of having its students learn in-person as much as possible.
