FALL CLEANUP in our cemeteries will commence in the very near future. To allow for general clean-up of the cemeteries, anyone desiring to retain summer decorations, including solar lights, from their cemetery lots whether natural or artificial, please remove those items before October 15. Please do not erect your winter decorations until after November 15, to assist us in our fall cleanup.
TWO RIVERS SENIOR CENTER HEALTH AND INFORMATION FAIR
Thursday October 21st– 8:00-11:45AM in the J.E. Hamilton Community House. FREE ADMISSIOM-EVERYONE WELCOME! FLU Vaccinations, Skin Screening, Hearing Screenings, Blood Pressure readings, Vendor Booths, continental breakfast, Door Prizes. *All services are based on first come first serve. No pre-registration and no early registration.
TWO RIVERS SENIOR CENTER RUMMAGE SALE; Thursday, November 11 – 8:30AM-3:30PM in the Behringer room in the J.E. Hamilton Community House. *Gently used items can be donated Wednesday, November 10:30AM – 3:30 PM(Please no clothes or electronics). Friday, November 12 – Stuff A Bag, $2. 8:30-10:00AM
The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation will be offering Swim Lessons starting with Session 1 October 4th -November 22 in the evenings at the Two Rivers High School Poo. Level 1, Level 2, and level 3. Registration deadline for Session 1 is September 27. Session 2 will be held January 10-February 28, 2022. Stay Home Alone: Put your mind at ease as your child gains independence and self-confidence. This class will guide your child through all the stages of staying safe out in the community, getting home safe and all the safety tips while home alone. Pickleball
Its Fall and time for Indoor Pickleball at the J.E. Hamilton Community House. Session 1: October 5-December 30, Session 2: January 4 – March 31, 2022. Sundays: 3:30-6PM, Tuesdays: 1:00-3:00 PM and 5:30-7PM and Thursdays 1:00-3:00 PM. Type of payment offered is Punch Card Fee or Unlimited Pickleball. 4-Week Pickleball Clinic
Learn how to play the fastest-growing sport in the United States. Instruction from an experienced player, you will learn all the bases of the game. All skill levels are welcome. Held in the J.E. Hamilton Community House, Rocheleau Gymnasium 4:30-5:30PM. Session 2: October 11 & 12, 18 & 19 (Mondays & Tuesdays this session only) Session 3: Mondays; November 8- November 29.
NEW! CO-ED FUTSAL LEAGUE
Futsal is like indoor soccer played with two teams of five! This is a 7 week season of indoor futsal. Two Sessions- Session 1 is November 9-December 21 and sessions 2 is January 11-February 22, 2022. 5 v 5 including a goalie and no more than 10 names on the roster. Tuesday nights 7:00 – 10:00 PM.
