A Stoughton company finding challenges filling its open positions is bumping up hourly wages for the second time in a year.
Stoughton Trailers announced it was going to hire 300 workers last year because orders for its trailers were getting close to a record.
A company spokesperson says it is hiking entry-level hourly pay for assemblers and painters by $2 an hour.
Assemblers will be paid $18 an hour and painters and welders will be paid $20.
The company says the wages are going up for a second time so it can stay competitive.
