The Appleton Police Department has identified the individual who died in a fiery crash late last week.
The victim was identified as 50-year-old Silia Hurula of Appleton. The driver of the other vehicle was only identified as a 19-year-old Appleton resident, and that individual remains in the hospital.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Oneida and Calumet Streets at around 11:00 PM last Friday (September 17th). One of the vehicles involved was on fire, and the other was badly damaged.
It’s still not clear what exactly caused the accident, and police are asking for the public’s help.
