A high school standout from Connecticut has committed to play for the Marquette women’s basketball team.
“Nique” Mayo announced her decision at Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, Connecticut Tuesday.
The 5′ 9″ class of 2022 recruit averaged 20 points, seven assists, and six rebounds a game as a junior.
She was named All-State in Connecticut for the second straight season after that performance.
Mayo apparently chose the Golden Eagles over an offer from the University of Houston.
