A Green Bay woman is facing serious legal trouble after she was arrested in connection to three fraud cases.
42-year-old Theresa Marie Lasee is facing charges after what police call a “significant financial fraud investigation”.
There are a lot of details to this story, but in summation, Lasee allegedly took advantage of a 96-year-old woman, receiving a total of over $210,000.
She was booked into the Brown County Jail on a total of 67 charges, including seven counts of theft, and ten counts each of fraud and forgery.
Officials are using this case to remind family members of elderly adults to keep an eye on their loved one’s bank accounts.
Lasee will be in court on October 14th for her initial appearance.
