Manitowoc County Soil and Water Conservation Department is offering a free well water screening for nitrates all next week.
Individuals can bring ½ cup well water in a clean container to one of 5 screening locations across Manitowoc County.
The Manitowoc County Soil and Water Conservation Department located at 4319 Expo Drive in Manitowoc will be open from 8:30 to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, with four other locations open from 2:00 to 5:00 PM one day each.
The Mishicot Country Store will do the testing on Monday (September 27th), as will the C-Store in Reedsville on Tuesday.
In Maribel, you can get your water tested at the BP Gas Station on Ewald Lane on Wednesday, and on Thursday, you can go to the Piggly Wiggly in Kiel.
